We can order Specialty & Seasonal fabrics. There is an ADDITIONAL FEE for these fabrics if we do not have them in stock. IF they have to be shipped to us, generally the shipping time from the Seller is 10 - 14 BUSINESS days. This means there is ADDITIONAL time before your order can be sewn. Please keep this in mind if you decide to use/request a fabric that is not listed on our website. ALL SPECIALTY / SEASONAL fabric orders MUST be approved via email PRIOR to ordering. We are happy to provide suggestions for SPECIALTY/SEASONAL fabrics and will ensure you approve the fabric BEFORE it is ordered. ONCE approved, you will receive an total for pricing that you MUST pay to place your order. We do NOT order excess material. We do NOT MARK material up in price. We will charge you what it costs us, including shipping. There are NO REFUNDS / RETURNS on SPECIALTY / SEASONAL fabric orders.

As a designer we always want to try new options and see what our customers are interested in. As we try new items we want to offer them at appropriate pricing that covers the cost of our materials. We will try to offer items that we feel are interesting and fun. Currently, we see the following items being available throughout 2026: Quilted Table Runners Braw Bags Multiple size Pouches - (ie - eyeglasses, books, e-readers, laptops) These will be quilted to add some protection for your items. The easy answer is YES. However, the results are not optimal, and you may NOT be happy with the results as the APRON ONLY fabrics are much lighter weight. This means that the end product(s) do NOT tend to be as durable as the APRON and TOTE BAG Fabrics. This is a Custom-Made product, and we will use the fabric you choose, but we will caution you to be aware that we have tested many of our fabrics for durability and wear. We do not warranty the product other than for our workmanship.

This comes from the Scottish. A Braw Bag is simply a term used to describe a little container that is used for carrying things. It It has been recently associated as a handy object holding your most precious crafty items (e.g. haberdashery, WIP's, wool and notions, etc.) This makes it a perfect example for knitting and crocheting, to carry smaller travel items, to place small items in a larger tote bag or purse. A Braw Bag generally has 2 outer pockets and two inner pockets. They can vary in size. The largest one that is offered by Handmade is 6.5 x 5.5 x 5. We offer three (3) sizes. You may choose Braw Bag fabrics or Apron fabrics for the construction of this bag. Handmade uses a pattern adapted from Merry Makers and Sweet Cinnamon Roses.

Please choose an option from the Fabric Choices that have been Shown for the following lists: APRON ONLY APRONS & TOTE BAGS TOTE BAGS ONLY If you cannot see the fabric you want in the dropdown menu when you go to order. (My apologies - we have a limited number of Dropdown Options.) In the NOTE section on the CART page where it says to enter Crossbody Strap Length - Enter the fabric choice(s) that you could not make. Please let us know if you want that for your Front Fabric or Back Fabric. A PATTERNED option is for BOTH Sides but you may choose a print and a plain if you like. A PATTERNED / SIMPLE is - Print one side and Plain on the other. A PATTERNED / Lined is - Print one side and a lightweight plain on the other. It only has Pockets on ONE side. You may do this for ANY fabric choice! This option is good for ALL Products.

ALL Items have a Front Fabric and a Back Fabric. In TOTE Bags the Front fabric will be the fabric that you see for the pockets. The Back Fabric will be the fabric that makes up the majority of the Tote bag. All tote bags are lined. As the designer I will chose the most appropriate lining for the bag, based on your choice of fabrics. All trim or other decoration is also designer choice. Straps may consist of Color-coordinated webbing or fabric to match the pockets. If you choose to add additional options such as zippers, velcro or snap closures, they are at an additional cost. Crossbody straps may be up to 46" in length. Customer MUST specify their desired length on the Ordering page. Crossbody straps are an additional cost. We have found that a PATTERN and PLAIN work best for TOTE Bags. You may do this for ANY fabric choice! This option is good for ALL Products.

The Back Fabric will be the fabric that makes up the reverse side of the Apron. Again, the pockets will be Matched if possible. Any trim or other decoration is the designers choice. Straps may consist of Color-coordinated grosgrain ribbon or fabric to match the apron pattern(s). A PATTERNED option is for BOTH Sides but you may choose a print and a plain if you like. A PATTERNED / SIMPLE is - Print one side and Plain on the other. A PATTERNED / Lined is - Print one side and a lightweight plain on the other. It has Pockets on ONE side only. You may do this for ANY fabric choice! This option is good for ALL Products.
